● Attending field trips is a privilege, and parents will sign a CCSD permission slip. Dr. Bowen is the trip lead, but all three Junior teachers are planning to attend. Your professionalism and Pope reputation are on display at The University of Georgia Honors College. We expect you to participate respectfully and enthusiastically in this rare opportunity to meet professors and research fellows in such small circles of conversation; these conversations will require some preparation on your part, but we will help you with background info on the professors you will meet, making your engagement more meaningful. Field trips can be tiring, but we expect you to take on the long days with a sense of purpose, gaining as much as you can from this chance at mentorship. On top of that, it should be fun to live the life of UGA students (within reason) for a couple of days.
  • NOTE: Students may be removed from the trip and all payments forfeited based on excessive behavior problems (ISS/OSS, skipping class, etc.) or any issues during the trip itself. This is at the discretion of the Globalization teachers and Pope administration.
