Why Pope Globalization Academy?
Pope’s Globalization Academy provides unique educational experiences at each grade level that differentiates their learning from the traditional high school curriculum. Grade level projects provide opportunities for students to interact with global leaders and experts in international business. Global Connections night, seminars on international issues with Consuls and Embassy personnel, university professors and other internationally focused business people from the Atlanta community allow students to connect their academic work to the real world.
Our students are encouraged to get involved in our vibrant high school community and the Pope culture by participating in extra-curricular activities like fine arts, athletics and the many other clubs and organizations that Pope has to offer.

Study Abroad Opportunities
Students have the opportunity to participate in a teacher-led study abroad program during a school break which includes a business and cultural conference program. Past countries our students have visited include India, Italy, Cuba and Spain. Visit our travel section for more information on upcoming travel opportunities.

Every Globalization student also participates each year in a student-led conference with embassy personnel, university professors and other internationally focused business people in the Atlanta community. These projects have included a study of the holocaust with Kennesaw State University and creating podcast interviews with immigrants to the United Nations.
